Hi. My name is Kim Gilbert and I am so excited to be working with you this year.
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Language Arts and Social Sciences. I went on to National Louis University to receive an endorsement that specializes in students who are learning English as a second language.
This is my seventh year teaching 4th grade at Anna McDonald and I could not be happier! This is such a great district and community to be associated with. Previously, I worked as a 4-6 grade long-term substitute teacher and as a teaching assistant in a special education classroom in the Western suburbs.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, taking our dog for walks, and completing DIY projects in our home.
